The plainest bar Khan Al Saboun makes: olive oil, herbal distilled water and lye, saponified slowly and cured on wooden shelves in Tripoli. No added fragrance, no colour, a low, creamy lather that rinses clean. The bar the Levant has washed with for generations, for face, body and hands, and mild enough for skin that reacts to everything else.

Made by hand in Tripoli

Khan Al Saboun is a family workshop in Tripoli, the old soap city of the Levant. The craft nearly disappeared in the twentieth century; in 1995 the Hassoun family revived it. Olea Vitalis is a genuine retailer: every bottle comes from that workshop and ships from our stock in the EU.
