Made by hand in Tripoli
Khan Al Saboun is a family workshop in Tripoli, the old soap city of the Levant. The craft nearly disappeared in the twentieth century; in 1995 the Hassoun family revived it. Olea Vitalis is a genuine retailer: every bottle comes from that workshop and ships from our stock in the EU.

Lavender Sea SaltCoarse Mediterranean sea salt blended with sesame oil, lavender oil and dried lavender from the Bader Hassoun eco-village gardens, in a 350 g glass jar. Two handfuls in warm water and fifteen minutes in the bath; the salt softens the water, the lavender carries through the steam. Also used as a foot soak and heel scrub. The evening jar.
